The Final Step - Grad Prep

Attention all fellow Morrow Mustangs! Seniors' graduation is coming closer and closer. As you may already figure, graduation is a momentous occasion for seniors. Graduation is the final step needed to conclude your K-12 journey in school.

As graduation nears, seniors and school administrators have been busying themselves to make this graduation day a day to remember.

There are numerous ways this grand occasion has been prepared for this upcoming month. As a means of preparing for that special day, Morrow high senior, Tan Nguyen, states that he is “making sure all academic responsibilities and assignments are complete.” There is a sense of “excitement” and “nervousness” as Nguyen narrows down which school he will attend and what he will decide to major in.

Another Morrow senior Aaron Holmes has his sights on attending Clayton State University and preparing everything he needs for college in the Fall. Although he is feeling a bit sad for high school career coming to a close, he looks forward to the next step in starting college, after graduation.

Here's some important info for our seniors:

- Seniors’ Graduation Day is officially scheduled on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022.

- Each practice will be held in the Morrow High School gymnasium at the following times:

May 16th - after senior breakfast

May 23rd

24th - 9am to 1pm.

- Each senior is given 10 tickets for those they would like to invite, so choose your guests wisely.

- This is mandatory for all seniors so make sure to attend! Remember seniors, while you're preparing for this grand occasion, make sure you go big or go home because this is the GRAND FINALE.

Seniors, even if the next step after graduation is unsure, know that you have what it takes to succeed.

New beginnings often come with challenges but there is so much you learn in the process. Think back on your new beginning as a freshman in High School. There were a lot of challenges you faced in high school but you succeeded, and learned a lot about yourself in the process. Whether it is starting college, starting a business, or starting a career you will succeed. We wish you many blessings on your future endeavors that will positively impact, not only our community, but society as a whole.
